This Fourth of July, the City of Tampa invites residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day along the Tampa Riverwalk. The festivities will include fireworks, live entertainment, and waterfront activities made possible by community partners.

Boom by the Bay will continue as a series of neighborhood and partner-led celebrations across Tampa. These events are supported by the city and showcase the unique spirit of each neighborhood as they unite to commemorate Independence Day. Notable events include The Heights District Fourth of July Celebration at Armature Works, Star Spangled Sparkman Wharf, and the Friends of the Riverwalk July 4th Boat Parade: Salute to the Red, White, and Blue. These gatherings provide family-friendly ways to enjoy the holiday while exploring Tampa’s waterfront and supporting local businesses.

Although Julian B. Lane Park will not host vendors or activities this year as it did in 2024, the Riverwalk remains open to the public with numerous spots available for viewing fireworks against the backdrop of Hillsborough River and Tampa’s skyline.

City departments are collaborating with event organizers to ensure public safety, traffic management, and smooth logistics for attendees. Visitors are encouraged to use public transportation options such as the free TECO Line Streetcar, DASH Tampa, ridesharing services, bicycles, and scooters.

Featured Events:

– Friends of the Riverwalk July 4 Boat Parade: Salute to the Red, White, and Blue.
– The Heights District Fourth of July Celebration at Armature Works
– Star Spangled Sparkman Wharf
