Tampa prepares for annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony at Old City Hall

The City of Tampa is set to hold its annual Pride Flag Raising Ceremony on Thursday, June 12, at 8:30 a.m. The event will take place outside Old City Hall located at 315 E Kennedy Blvd. This ceremony is part of the city’s recognition of Pride Month and aims to honor the contributions made by Tampa’s LGBTQ+ community.

Mayor Jane Castor will participate in the event alongside City Council Chairman Alan Clendenin, city staff, and community supporters. The ceremony serves as a reflection on the history of Pride and emphasizes the importance of ensuring that everyone feels safe, respected, and welcomed in Tampa.
