The Tampa Police Department is currently investigating a homicide following the discovery of a deceased man on Thursday morning. Officers responded to a call shortly before 7:20 am at the intersection of N. 48th Street and E. 26th Avenue, where they found an adult male with trauma to his upper body. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding this incident to reach out to the Tampa Police Department by calling 813-231-6130.
