Tampa police investigate fatal shooting on E Citrus Circle

Police in Tampa are investigating a homicide that occurred on the evening of September 1 in the 4700 block of E Citrus Cir. Officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 7:26 p.m. and found an adult Black male with a gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to authorities, detectives believe that those involved in the incident knew each other, and it does not appear to be a random act. Investigators are currently pursuing leads as part of their ongoing inquiry.
