For the third consecutive year, Tampa has been recognized as one of Cvent’s Top Meeting Destinations for 2025. This acknowledgment highlights the city’s appeal for hosting meetings, conventions, corporate events, and association gatherings.
The ranking is determined by Cvent, which assesses more than 14,000 cities worldwide based on sourcing activity through its Supplier Network platform. The network connects meeting planners and event managers with venues and destinations globally.
The Tampa Convention Center remains a key factor in the city’s ongoing success in attracting events. The facility works closely with Visit Tampa Bay, local hotels, service providers, and event management partners to provide resources that support effective planning and execution of events.
In 2025 alone, the Tampa Convention Center received seven awards from organizations such as ConventionSouth Magazine, Northstar Stella Awards, Smart Meetings, Exhibitor Magazine, International Explorer Awards, and others. These honors reflect its reputation as a leading convention center in the United States.
Located in downtown Tampa with over 600,000 square feet of waterfront event space and close proximity to hotels and restaurants, the center continues to draw interest from event professionals both nationally and internationally.
