Meeting professionals have recognized the Tampa Convention Center for its service excellence. The center was chosen in the Best Convention Center category for the Smart Stars Awards, organized by Smart Meetings.

The Tampa Convention Center is one of 21 centers across North America acknowledged as exceptional. As a Smart Stars winner, it represents a hospitality brand meeting high standards in service, amenities, and customer satisfaction. Voters noted the center’s ability to enhance attendee experiences at meetings and events.

These awards are now in their 13th year and involve selections made by meeting planners based on their experiences at venues globally.

The Tampa Convention Center has a history of accolades, being a finalist for Best Convention Center in the Southeast U.S. at the Northstar Stella Awards after winning gold in 2023 and 2024. It was also named among Exhibitor Magazine’s Centers of Excellence in 2024 and selected for ConventionSouth’s Readers’ Choice Awards in 2023.

Located in Downtown Tampa, Florida, the center offers waterfront views and extensive event spaces with modern amenities. Celebrating its 35th anniversary this year, it is committed to sustainability with LEED Silver certification. Partnerships include Aramark for food services and FedEx for logistics.
