The City of Tampa is inviting residents and visitors to celebrate Independence Day along the Tampa Riverwalk. This year’s festivities, under the umbrella of Boom by the Bay, will include fireworks, live entertainment, and waterfront activities. These events are organized with the help of community partners.

Boom by the Bay will feature a series of neighborhood celebrations across Tampa. The city supports these community-driven events that showcase each neighborhood’s spirit during the Fourth of July. Events such as The Heights District Fourth of July Celebration at Armature Works, Star Spangled Sparkman Wharf, and Friends of the Riverwalk July 4th Boat Parade: Salute to the Red, White, and Blue offer family-friendly opportunities to enjoy the holiday while exploring Tampa’s waterfront.

Although Julian B. Lane Park will not host vendors and activities like in 2024, the Riverwalk remains open to the public for enjoying fireworks with views of Hillsborough River and Tampa’s skyline.

City departments are collaborating with event organizers to manage public safety, traffic flow, and logistics for a smooth experience. Attendees are encouraged to use public transportation options like the free TECO Line Streetcar, DASH Tampa, ridesharing services, bike paths, and scooter-friendly routes.

Featured events include:

– Friends of the Riverwalk July 4 Boat Parade: Salute to the Red, White, and Blue
– The Heights District Fourth of July Celebration at Armature Works
– Star Spangled Sparkman Wharf
