Emergency crews in Tampa are addressing a wastewater overflow incident in the south Seminole Heights neighborhood. The issue, originating from the Louisiana Pumping Station at Rivercrest Park, is attributed to a pipe clog of unknown origin.

City teams are actively working to clear the obstruction and have hired a contractor to establish a portable bypass system around the pumping station. Completion of this work is anticipated by midnight.

Officials confirm that drinking water remains unaffected by the spill. State and county regulators have been notified about the situation.
