TAMPA, Fla- The Tampa Police Department has launched a program that will keep community members informed from the moment they call 9-1-1 through the investigative process.
SPIDR Tech, a Versaterm company, uses a platform to better service crime victims through automatic text messages allowing Tampa Police to provide high quality customer service.
“Our investment in this technology will keep our community informed and allow us to strengthen our relationship with those in need of police services,” said Chief Lee Bercaw. “I am committed to ensuring our department is building trust and confidence in the organization through frequent and consistent communication. The implementation of SPIDR Tech is another tool that allows us to accomplish that.”
“The Tampa Police Department exemplifies a commitment to innovation focused on addressing the current and future needs of its community. Employing SPIDR Tech is one example of the dedication to establishing a standard for exceptional experiences in every interaction,” said Warren Loomis, President & CEO of Versaterm. “We are honored to be part of the Tampa Police Department's initiative to provide better customer service through enhanced communications and transparency.”
