South Florida football has finalized its 2026 non-conference schedule by adding a home game against Kent State. The matchup is set for Saturday, October 17 at Raymond James Stadium and will mark the first meeting between the two programs.

With the addition of Kent State, South Florida will play seven home games in 2026, something it has not done since 2019. Last season, the Bulls won all six of their home games. The 2026 season will also be the last for South Florida at Raymond James Stadium before moving to a new on-campus stadium with a capacity of 35,000 in 2027.

Kent State finished last year with a record of five wins and seven losses under head coach Mark Carney.

South Florida’s 30th football season will begin on September 5 against FIU at Raymond James Stadium. Other non-conference games include Delaware State on September 19 in Tampa and an away game at Bowling Green on September 26.

In American Conference play, South Florida will host Memphis, Tulane, Temple, and UAB. Road conference games are scheduled against Army, FAU, ECU, and UTSA. The full conference schedule is expected to be released soon.

Tickets for all seven home games can be reserved online or by calling 1-800-GoBulls.

According to information about the program’s history, South Florida started playing football in 1997 and will celebrate its 30th season in 2026. In recent years, the team achieved a nine-win season in 2025 and made its first appearance in the College Football Playoff rankings. The program completed an indoor performance facility in 2023 and expects to finish construction on a $349-million stadium and operations center by 2027. Over its history, South Florida has produced several All-America selections and NFL draft picks while making multiple bowl appearances.
