Throughout his time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, wide receiver Mike Evans has maintained a high level of performance despite changes in quarterbacks, offensive systems, and coordinators. Known for his ability to make back-shoulder catches and win contested balls, Evans has been a key part of the Buccaneers’ offense for over a decade.

In 2025, injuries prevented Evans from reaching the 1,000-yard receiving mark that he had achieved in each of his previous 11 seasons. The prior year, he extended his streak to 11 consecutive 1,000-yard seasons—matching Pro Football Hall of Famer Jerry Rice for the most such seasons to start a career. This also placed him ahead of Randy Moss (10) for second-most overall consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in NFL history; only Rice has more with 14.

During the 2025 season, Evans recorded 30 receptions for 368 yards at an average of 12.3 yards per catch and scored three touchdowns.

Evans is one of only four players in league history to have more than 12,000 receiving yards and over 100 touchdown receptions through their first eleven seasons. The other three are Marvin Harrison, Randy Moss, and Jerry Rice—all members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He holds multiple franchise records for Tampa Bay including points scored, receptions, receiving yards, receiving touchdowns, total touchdowns, number of games with at least 100 receiving yards, and scrimmage yards. He currently ranks tenth all-time in NFL history for touchdown receptions.

Over his twelve-year career so far with Tampa Bay, Evans has accumulated totals of 866 receptions for 13,052 receiving yards (averaging 15.1 yards per reception), along with 109 touchdowns across 176 games played and started.

“50 seasons of Buccaneers history and I am in the history books as a Tampa Bay Buccaneer tied with Jerry Rice,” said Evans. “That is amazing and you cannot even think of that as a kid to draw that up or to dream about that. So I have been blessed to be a staple of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.”
