U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, who represents Florida’s 14th district in Congress, used her social media platform on July 17, 2025, to criticize House Republicans and encourage constituents to sign up for local weather alerts.
In a post published at 17:18 UTC, Castor stated: ” While families across America are struggling with rising costs, House Republicans are protecting the wealthy and well-connected while doing NOTHING to support working families or lower costs. They’ve blocked ethics reforms and allowed partisan political hacks to misuse https://t.co/vsiIl94KTo”.
