U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor, who represents Florida’s 14th district in Congress, used her Twitter account to inform constituents about upcoming community services and to express gratitude toward local law enforcement officers.

On May 14, 2026, Castor posted an announcement regarding constituent assistance: “Do you need help with a federal agency? My casework team will be available tomorrow with Community Casework Hours to help you cut through the red tape.

Kathy Castor has served as the U.S. Representative for Florida’s 14th District since replacing Jim Davis in 2007. She previously held office in the Florida House of Representatives and was born in Miami in 1966. Castor currently resides in Tampa and holds degrees from Emory University (BA) and Florida State University (JD).
