Four University of South Florida (USF) women’s basketball players received American Conference postseason honors, the conference announced on March 9.

The recognition highlights the achievements of Carla Brito, Stefanie Ingram, Edyn Battle, and Katie Davidson during the season. These awards reflect their individual performances and contributions to the team’s success in conference play.

Carla Brito was named Second Team All-Conference for the second consecutive year. She recorded six straight double-doubles from February 4 to 21, marking the second-longest streak by a USF player since the 1999-2000 season. Brito also achieved at least 10 points, 12 rebounds, and a steal in six consecutive games—the longest such streak in American Conference history and across Division I this season. She ranks second in the conference with 11.1 rebounds per game during league play and is fourth overall with an average of 9.7 rebounds per game. Brito has accumulated ten double-doubles this season and reached a career milestone of 1,000 points at Temple.

Edyn Battle earned Third Team All-Conference honors as well as a spot on the All-Newcomer Team. Battle averaged 15 points per game—sixth best in the conference—and ranked fifth with 4.5 assists per game during league play. She also placed second in free-throw percentage (.872) and seventh in field-goal percentage (.424). Battle had three games scoring over twenty points and was recognized as American Conference Player of the Week on November 10.

Stefanie Ingram was selected for Third Team All-Conference after leading the league with an average of 5.7 assists per game and totaling 178 assists this season—the fourth-highest single-season total in program history. Nationally, she ranks seventeenth in total assists and eighteenth in assists per game.

Katie Davidson joined Battle on the All-Newcomer Team after ranking seventh in three-point field goals made per game (1.8) and scoring an average of 12.5 points per contest. Davidson led USF with a total of 376 points this season.

South Florida will compete next in the quarterfinals at the American Conference Tournament on Thursday, March 12 at Legacy Arena at BJCC in Birmingham, Alabama.

Michele Woods-Baxter was named interim head coach for USF women’s basketball.
