Congresswoman Laurel Lee, representing Florida’s 15th district since 2023, has been engaged in several discussions aimed at fostering collaboration with key stakeholders. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Lee, now 49, resides in Tampa. She is an alumna of the University of Florida, with a Bachelor’s degree earned in 1996 and a Juris Doctor earned in 1999. Recently, Lee shared her activities on the social media platform Twitter.

On April 2, 2025, Lee expressed the outcome of her meeting with a notable figure in the arts sector. “It was wonderful to meet with Brooke Shields, President of @ActorsEquity, last week in Washington, D.C. We had a great discussion on ways that we can work together to support and protect performers throughout Florida and across the country.”

The following day, on April 3, 2025, she made a statement endorsing a significant political figure. “President Trump is the proven leader our nation needs. We are working to keep ALL Americans safe. Promises made, promises kept.”

Later on April 3, 2025, Lee had a conversation emphasizing agricultural issues. “I had a wonderful conversation with @FloridaCitrusMutual while they were visiting Washington, D.C. I’m committed to finding ways we can work together to tackle obstacles and support our citrus growers while ensuring they can keep feeding the world.”
