Former H. B. Plant High School standout and current Tampa Spartans player, Ava Ramirez will compete in the NCAA Division II Softball Championship.

They begin the tournament as a number one seed against the eighth seeded Spring Hill Badgers.

The first game is on Thursday, May 8 at 12 p.m.
